Our Materials
We choose materials for what they do, not for what they claim to be.
A bag has one job: to carry what matters, every day, without letting you down, this year and for years to come. That's the standard every material we use has to meet.
What we use
We work in two material families: vegan leather (PU) and genuine leather. Neither one is "better." Each earns its place by what it brings to a specific design.
Our vegan leather holds its shape beautifully, resists daily wear, and asks nothing of you in return: no conditioning, no polishing, just use it.
Where we use genuine leather, it's chosen for the way it softens and deepens with time, the rare kind of material that looks better a year in than it did on day one.
Whichever one a bag is made from, the same rule applies: it earns its place by lasting, not by looking good for a season.
Why structure matters more than you'd think
A bag's shape comes from its construction: the lining, the panelling, the way the handles are attached, not just the outer material. That's why we favour structured shapes with real hardware: a good buckle, a solid zip, a lining that holds its form. Those details do more for how a bag looks and lasts than the material alone ever could.
It's a quiet kind of quality. The kind you don't notice until months in, when the bag you chose still looks like the bag you chose.
How we check quality
We're a young brand, so we'll be straightforward about where we are: every product we carry is reviewed before it reaches our collection, the stitching, the hardware, how it feels in hand. We check for the things that actually fail over time: loose seams, weak zips, straps that pull at the attachment point.
We don't yet have years of customer wear behind every design. What we can promise is that nothing goes on the site without being checked first, and that we'll always tell you honestly if something doesn't meet our own bar.
